(Feature Film - 2015)
Synopsis
A social worker comes across the tortured life of a group of kids from the suburbs of Lausanne, Switzerland. He will coach them to write a screenplay and help them to fulfill their dream. A road movie to Cannes Film Festival that will confront everyone to a very strong human process. TAPIS ROUGE is a journey, more than a movie, an extraordinary experience.
"On a widely explored theme, Fred Baillif and Kantarama Gahigiri managed to make a truthful and moving film, which succeeds in surprising us." - TV5Monde Jury
"TAPIS ROUGE (...) is a Swiss road movie that recalls with power and freshness a certain independent US cinema. Tapis Rouge (...) tackles the often difficult reality that affects life in the “problem” neighborhoods with courage and with successful aesthetic sensitivity." – Cineuropa
