As I sit in the empty room of the Serena Hotel, writing my speech for my first festival as a Marraine I can feel the pressure build. In a few hours all the seats will be taken. More than 900 people, friends and family. I am so proud to be here, honored that TAPIS ROUGE is the opening film. An amazing encounter brought me here… but there’s no coincidence in life, right? My head spins. But for now, let’s finish this paper, barefeet if it helps.
